“Seven years buried alive in Gomezuela’s dungeons” is one of the few works written by a popular legendary character of anarchism, Máximo Lizcano (Biófilo Panclasta), on the years he spent in Venezuelan prisons without trial from 1914.

This work represents only a part of the history of “Gran-Colombian”
anarchism, but it is also a unique tale on the prison system, the first one
among those written during the long period of Juan Vincente Gomez’ dictatorship.

This second edition was created with the complicity of Clemente Perez, who did everything to get a copy from the International Institute of Social History in Amsterdam; the text was edited by Corazón de Fuego Records and Indubio Pro Reo in Colombia and Venezuela, the prologue was written by Rodolfo Montes de Oca.
