On August 10th 2013 migrants who are held at the detention center at Menidi (Amygdaleza) set containers, walls and barbed wires on fire. They revolt against their tyrants, those who enslave their bodies and souls.
Five detainees manage to escape while sixty others get arrested at random after the police strikes back. They are all revengefully charged with serious criminal offences and are facing trial on November 3rd.
In their struggles for freedom and dignity, migrants will find us by their side. We will defend them with all our available means. Because they did what’s only reasonable. Because they fought for their lives.
Solidarity with the migrants accused of the uprising at Menidi concentration camp (Amygdaleza).
