Lavans-lès-Saint-Claude, France : Two vehicles of the town hall set on fire – 3June 2018

We learn from Le Progrès  that two municipal services vehicles were burned at the beginning of June.
Sunday, June 3 early afternoon, an individual entered the area where a truck and utility services vehicle of the town hall were parked,  rue Bourdeaux.
He set fire to them before fleeing. Unfortunately, he was questioned shortly afterwards by the police. Thursday, June 7, at the Criminal Court of Lons-le-Saunier, the man, aged 27, was sentenced in immediate comparition to 18 months’ prison including six of which suspended and put to the test.
He is also required to reimburse the damage caused to the municipality, which is estimated at 41,000 euros.
