The wave of repression that followed the events of May 1st in Milan during the demo MayDay against Expo 2015 and its neo-liberal model has not yet ended: at the end of July 2018, 3 years after the NoExpo demo, comrade Marco Re Cecconi was arrested in Toulouse following the issue of a European arrest warrant.
Yet again we find ourselves struggling against various charges, among which destruction and looting, article 419 of the Rocco fascist penal code with sentences from 8 to 15 years’ prison.
So the Scateniamoli [let’s unleash them] campaign is starting up again with the aim of spreading information about Marco’s trial and how he is and to obtain the liberation of another pirate victim of repression.
Once again, breaking the silence means not letting our comrade’s fate be forgotten.
Once again, breaking the silence means taking to the streets, demonstrating outside the courts and the prisons, taking back possession of spaces in order to continue our paths of struggle.
