Greece , Athens: Information on the decision of the 5th Revolutionary Struggle trial

Concerning the attempted escape by helicopter carried out on 21/2/2016 by Pola Roupa, bank expropriation (Piraeus in the Sotiria hospital and the Malesina National bank), possession of weapons and explosives.
The current decision of the 5th trial of Revolutionary Struggle was perfectly consistent with the Prosecutor’s Office. The members of Revolutionary Struggle, Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis, were sentenced for the entire indictment (attempted aircraft capture, kidnap, threats and violence against the pilot, disruption of air transport, expropriation of banks, possession of weapons and explosives, forgery etc.) to 120 years’ imprisonment, with a merger of 65, and the comrade Maziotis to 37 years’ imprisonment, with a merger of 24 for instigation for the charge of attempted escape.
Kostantina Athanasopoulou and Charalambidis were sentenced for participation in Revolutionary Struggle, the expropriation of Malesina National Bank and other acts (thefts, forgery, weapons and weapons) to 60 years’ imprisonment, the first with a 35.5 years merger, the second to 58 years’ imprisonment, with a merger of 34.5.
The other defendants were acquitted of all charges, as was the prosecutor’s proposal.
