Germany : Police Cars and Antenna Set on Fire in Leipzig
January 7, 2020by actforfreedom
On December 29 in Leutzsch (a suburb of Leipzig, Germany), anarchists set fire to a telecommunications pylon for the cops and a few cars of the municipal police.
The following is their statement:
According to their statements, the pigs prepared a trap for the autonomous people this year to catch them if they were to set fire to state property again. We didn’t really see what it could look like, but we didn’t take the risk of finding out and so we advanced a few days before Christmas Eve.
On the evening of December 29 in Leutzsch, we placed some fuel at the foot of a telecommunications pylon for the cops and a few cars of the Ordnungsamt [equivalent of the municipal police]. Obviously, most of them caught fire.
On January 29, 2020 there will be a hearing before the Federal Administrative Court on the ban on linksunten.indymedia.org. This attack is directed in the first place against the repressive bodies which have prohibited linksunten.indymedia.org, that is to say the cops and the heads of the ministries inside: if you take away our media, then we will destroy your things.
On the other hand, it has been argued that the outcome of the trial would not be so important, since “repression is not capable of restraining our desire to consult and write our own independent accounts.”
On Saturday January 25, 2020 in Leipzig, there will be a demo on the theme of the Linksunten trial at 5 p.m. on Simsonplatz. Go there or do something from home.
Another big meeting on this year’s calendar is the EU-China economy-focused summit which will take place in Leipzig from September 13 to 15, 2020. It will be a wider meeting of the enemies of freedom who govern us now, who will exchange to make capitalism work even better internationally, see how they can overcome trade barriers and how to continue to intensify the exploitation of people.
In addition, this heap of vermin, with its subordinates and of course their inevitable device of cops and informants will assault the city. We would like, dear comrades, to invite you to come to Leipzig on this occasion to comment on this crappy summit that we hate in a way that suits you.
Last but not least, we salute the Park Bench Three, whose trial is about to begin on January 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hamburg regional court, Room 237. A lot of strength to you for this busy period.
