Athens,Greece: CUPBOARD self-organized solidarity initiative, we collect and offer food and basic needs items,Monday&Thursday, 7pm PIKPA squat

«The Cupboard», a self-organized solidarity initiative – we collect and offer food and other basic needs items, Monday and Thursday, 19:00, in the squat of PIKPA
NO one to be left alone against the crisis
SELF-PROTECTION against the pandemic but within reason. We must not accept the movement restrictions and the curfew, the individualization, the fear, the isolation and the social cannibalism put forward as the solution. “Personal responsibility” comes as an excuse to cover up the state’s and capital’s irresponsibility.
SELF ORGANIZATION of our everyday lives and of our needs. We and our fellow citizens are the only ones who actually care about our health and our lives. No self-acclaimed savior, such as the government, the church, and businessmen, can truly care about us.
SOLIDARITY to all the people regardless of their color, gender, nationality, age, etc. Let’s create networks of mutual aid to cover our basic needs, material or psycho-social.
RESISTANCE against fascism in any of its form. We must not accept the working conditions of a galley. We must claim access to housing and health for everyone. We must show no trust to governors and bosses who manipulate and manage us to maximize their profits and privileges.
Call for contributions to the «The Cupboard», a self-organized solidarity initiative – we collect and offer food and other basic needs items. Whoever is in need can come and collect what they need. In this crucial moment of serious health and social issues, the needs of our neighbors (and not only), especially of the most vulnerable and marginalized (elderlies, homeless, migrants and refugees, poor, sick) have been increased and there is greater need for food, sanitary and cleaning items. “The Cupboard” continues to operate as usual every Monday and Thursday, 7-9pm, in the squat of PIKPA, taking all the necessary health precautions for the protection of our neighbors and our community.
