On October 8th, 9th and 16th 2020 , the appeal case took place against
anarchists accused of criminal organization and a plethora of specific
crimes. Only one accused was present and refused to answer the questions of the judge.
The prosecutor Malagnini recommended “tougher” (sic) sentences than in the first instance; ranging from 3 to 6 years effective prison.
The verdict will be made public on November 12th at 14h.

Rotative Hungerstrike in spanish prisons
From last 1st of September on at least 14 prisoners, mostly anarchists,
take actually part of a new rotative hunger strike against the precarious health conditions in the spanish prisons. They reinvicate also a 14 point program against isolation custody (FIES/DERT), tortures and physical
and psychical violence from the prison guards, dispersion of prisoners
far from their home, etc. Every comrade is doing a 10-days-hungerstrike,
one following other, every month 3 prisoners.
Violence in spanish prisons is very common, every year 200 prisoners
die inside spanish prisons violently or from drugs, no medical attention
or diseases. Actually in corona times, the conditions in jail are mostly insoportables (bad food, no activities, no visits…).
Last month of August our comrade Carmen Badía Lachos was violated from a prison guard inside the ‘hospital’ part of the Zuera-prision (Zaragoza).
She suffers cancer and use a wheelchair to move, so this psycopath
had an ‘easy game’ to act like a coward. Carmen did a public communicate about this machist crime. Last year Carmen did a very long hungerstrike (more than 2 month) to denounce her health conditions to get released from prison because of her incurrable cancer. The prison-administration denied her petition… The violator got threats to kill from an anonymous prisoner.

The prosecutor’s request for immediate proceedings against Fra, Nico, Flavia, Roby, Claudio and Daniele (Operation Bialystok) has been accepted. The first hearing will be held in the court of the Assizes in Rome on 14th December at 9:30am.

From her lawyer we learn that Fra joined a food trolley strike in solidarity with anarchists Beppe and Davide on 19/10. She also lets us know that the prison blocked all the letters with which she wanted to communicate her choice and reflections.
Alfredo and Beppe have joined the food trolley strike
From recent letters we learn that Beppe and two other prisoners in Pavia jail will begin a food trolley strike along with Nico and Juan today. Alfredo has also made his decision known from the prison of Ferrara.

We anarchists of the AS2 unit of Terni wish to share with all of you the reflections that lead us to take up this small form of protest (refusing food from the trolley for two weeks, from 19th October to 1st November). It comes from the decision to overcome the condition of isolation and resignation in which the State, through its repressive institutions, wants to give us as subversive prisoners. We want to feel part of the ongoing conflict by participating in the struggle and debate with reflections and proposals, aware of our limits as prisoners.
We think this is particularly important at a time when we are witnessing an increase in repressive attempts to strike anarchist solidarity.

Over the autumn months various trials will take place involving hundreds of anarchists. At these inquests it is the anarchist ideal that prosecutors and judges want to put on trial. The reduction of different tensions and practices to monotonous judicial schemes – such as the pathetic obnoxious division between “good” and “bad” anarchism – is aimed at repressing 
those who struggle, at putting them in jail for decades.
At a historical time when the imposed conditions of life are getting harsher and harsher, it is essential to fight. To respond to the State’s violence, to the regime of oppression it wants to impose and to its attempt to attack anyone who expresses solidarity with those who have alreay chosen what side they are on.
We will bring closeness and complicity to our comrades and not just inside the courts: we are launching two weeks’ mobilization from the 9th to the 24th of November, an opportunity to create moments of active solidarity in the piazzas, in the streets and wherever one wants to express it.

Over the last years we experience a global resurgence of reactionary politics. State and capital, in a constant process of intensifying exploitation and expanding repression, used the global capitalist crisis, which started a decade ago, as a chance to further restructure 
relations of power in their advantage. Their political answer is materialized in a shift to the right, with a political alliance of neoliberal economic policies coupled with strong nationalistic narratives and repressive policies against resistance and progressive movements.
The new face of authoritarianism has unleashed an all out attack against individuals it considers unnecessary or those that choose to resist and collectivize against the ruin of their lives. In our current period, states the world over used measures against Covid-19 to extend repression, policing and surveillance against societies. At the same time, the failings of neoliberal healthcare systems have led to masses of deaths and increasing inequality due to access to healthcare.
To all of this, people in different areas of the world answer with massive resistance on the streets. Movements with different perspectives have revolted, for example in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, or more recently in France and the USA. The common thread of all these movements is their distance from institutionalized and systemic politics and the choice of self-organization and horizontalism in the fight against authority. At 7 a.m. on October 23rd, numerous riot police vans came to the social center to proceed with their eviction. The collective calls for a rally this afternoon at 8:00 p.m. in the Amos Acero Park.
This morning the threat hanging over the Ateneo Libertario of Vallecas was fulfilled. At 6:00 a.m. a caravan of anti-riot vans arrived at the entrance of the Ateneo, at 59 Párroco Don Emilio Franco Street. It was not until one hour later, at 7:00 a.m., that the anti-riot agents managed to break down the door to gain access to the interior of the space.
According to sources from the collective that used the space consulted by El Salto, “there was only one person inside, who has not been arrested. The building was an old textile factory that had been unused for more than seven years when it was squatted in 2014. Up to six anti-riot vans have been placed along the street of the Parish Priest Don Emilio Franco, blocking the front of the building.

Prison Breaks and Torched Police Stations in #EndSARS Uprising in Nigeria
In the uprising that began with the call for the abolition of the notorious Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) police force in Nigeria, revolutionaries have burned police stations, government buildings and banks across the country. Revolutionaries have also taken actions allowing prisoners to escape to freedom in the states of Ondo and Delta.
The High Court on Lagos island was also set ablaze on Wednesday.
Goods that had been confiscated by the court were expropriated, and the blaze lasted long into the night.
A major Nigerian TV station with links to a ruling party politician was also torched, while the palace of the most senior traditional leader in Lagos was ransacked.

In October 2019, after having spent almost six years in prison, accused of an attack on a bank security guard, Tamara Sol was able to leave the prison of Llancahue, in Valdivia, to go on “parole”.
In October 2020, after being subjected to various restrictive measures for a year, but outside, the comrade Tamara Sol succeeded in putting an end to this “alternative measure”, having completed her sentence.

Stories of Hellenic repression and anti-terrorism
September 23, late afternoon. Two comrades are stopped by the cops of the anti-terrorism.
One, Policarpos (pollis) Georgiadis, is cornered while entering a small warehouse in the Athens neighbourhood of Koukaki. The other, M.T., was stopped in the street and taken to GADA (Athens central police station). After the arrests, the searches. The police find two handguns in M.T.’s house, leading to his arrest and that of the comrade E.M., with whom he shares the house. Some Ak47 ammunition and explosive material is found in the building that Policarpos was about to enter. Anything in the computer or on printed paper regarding the revolutionary movement was seized from his home. A few days later hearings for the validation of the arrests took place: ballistics for the guns found at M.T. and E.M.’s home resulted in neither having been used in any specific action and the two comrades were released to await trial, M.T. with heavy bail conditions, as for E.T., she was released without conditions. A different story for Policarpos G. on the other hand, whose arrest is confirmed and Cops proceed to transfer him to the prison of Larissa.
The searches were not carried out by chance but are the result of investigations that have been going on for months in which the anti-terrorism police have been scrutinising these two comrades. The police hypothesis is that there are precise suspects behind the O.L.A. (Popular Fighters Groups), acronym that has claimed nine actions from 2013 to today.

We present a new book by Black International Editions, an internationalist project of anarchic diffusion that, from an informal and seditious anarcho-insurrectional intent, resurfaces in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and English, with a new title: “Incendiary Dialogues: For the Propagation of Anarchic Sedition”. The title is based on a dialogue on the course of the anarchic war between comrades Alfredo Cóspito, Gustavo Rodríguez and Gabriel Pombo da Silva.
We consciously decided to launch this booklet on May 22, in timely celebration of Chaos Day, remembering anarchist comrade Mauricio Morales, who, on a day like today in 2009 left this life fighting against Power when the bomb he was carrying in his backpack exploded prematurely, detonating a few meters away from the Gendarmerie School in Chile.
We dedicate this book to all our comrades in prison around the world, with a special dedication to our comrade Alfredo Cóspito, imprisoned in Italy, and to our beloved Gabriel Pombo Da Silva, who was arrested in Portugal and extradited to Spain at the time this book was published. We send all our strength to comrade Gabriel in the face of this new revenge by the authorities for his eternal irreducible struggle.
This book will have printed versions that will circulate in affinity spaces, among comrades and diverse anarchic projects around the world. The last months we saw different shades of curfew being imposed
throughout the world. Apparently in this highly developed society (in
the sense of the multiplication of institutions and technologies that
penetrate every aspect of life) a pandemic can only be dealt with
through the most blunt weapon of repression. To come together, to see
eye-to-eye, is branded irresponsible and forcibly disbanded, with a
glaring exception for profit-making, exploitative relations.
Physical intimacy and tenderness suddenly become something threatening with deadly consequences. Meetings and physical contact are declared to be something abnormal and forbidden. Don’t kiss, don’t hug, don’t touch.
Yes but touch the screens. The physical is banned from our real world
and replaced by the virtual. The situation serves as an ideal
opportunity to push ahead the total digitalization of all aspects of
life. This is the definition of this society of a human life; work and
consume, preferably without leaving the confinements of the home and

Questo numero del giornale viene pubblicato in un inedito formato, una speciale edizione murale. Un manifesto e quattro brevi articoli che spaziano da una concisa analisi sull’insostenibile concretezza dello Stato e sul 
disciplinamento individuale a delle riflessioni sulle conseguenze dello stato di pandemia nel quadro della «svolta autoritaria di nuova forma» in corso da tempo, da importanti interrogativi sulla natura dell’agire rivoluzionario, tra ecologismo radicale e conflitto sociale e di classe, al valore profondo e radicale, attivamente significativo, della solidarietà rivoluzionaria con i compagni anarchici imprigionati.
Un foglio che non rappresenta un mutamento editoriale definitivo rispetto alle analisi critiche, di attualità e teoriche che abbondano nei precedenti numeri, dato che a partire dal prossimo numero “Vetriolo” tornerà nel consueto formato. La scelta di questa speciale edizione murale nasce nei mesi di segregazione di massa disposta dallo Stato con l’emergenza legata alla pandemia di coronavirus. Abbiamo sentito in questo periodo l’esigenza di ulteriori spazi di comunicazione in grado di rompere il «distanziamento» che le autorità hanno voluto e vorrebbero interporre tra ciascuno di noi. Abbiamo sentito il desiderio di propagare, ancora, delle «grida» contro la repressione, tanto più in un momento a nostro avviso estremamente importante per l’anarchismo tutto, ovvero il processo d’appello dell’operazione «Scripta Manent», nonché nel contesto delle innumerevoli inchieste che le procure d’Italia continuano a indirizzare contro il movimento anarchico.
Come sempre in queste pagine non trovano spazio facili risposte, soluzioni pronte all’uso o tesi precostituite. Oggi come ieri, crediamo e continuiamo a scommettere in uno strumento che possa implicare un vivo coinvolgimento con le idee in esso affermate.

No tenemos auto que vender porque nos movemos a pie, poco a poco, paso a paso. Y aunque caminemos despacito, insegurxs, tropezando una y otra vez como niñxs, seguiremos rechazando apoyos paternalistas de quienes nos venden ideología y revolución; de quienes dirigen y recuperan las luchas populares para aumentar el currículum de su organización y, de este modo, justificar su propia existencia e inoperancia; de quienes colaboran conscientemente en la perpetuación de lo existente.
Porque la única ideología válida es la que día a día evoluciona, se discute, se cambia, se siente y se practica en lo cotidiano. No necesitamos urnas para decidir nuestro destino, ni plebiscitos, ni preguntas, nuestro destino lo tejemos con rebeldía y acción.

Hoy, en un contexto de revuelta popular, los partidos izquierdistas y la peste vanguardista, están apuntando como siempre al control de las masas con la estrategia de la “lucha” multiforme. Con el lema “¡Chile despertó!”, los rojxs aplican el peticionismo coyuntural y fuerzan a la servidumbre voluntaria a votar por el “Apruebo”, de la misma manera que la derecha criminal fuerza a votar por el “Rechazo”.

PT Freeport Indonesia (FI) has been present in Papua for decades since the start of the annexation of West Papua by colonial Indonesia. What PT FI produces is only natural destruction, expulsion of indigenous people, and genocide. We think Freeport’s existence can only be destroyed if West Papua is separated from Indonesia, but it is not the formation of a West Papua state that we want, but the West Papua Confederation, people control not state control!

usa: anarchist political prisoner Eric King: Flipping the Script
Eric King describes himself as a 33-year-old vegan anarchist political prisoner and poet who was arrested and charged with an attempted firebombing of a Congressperson’s office in Kansas City, Missouri, in September 2014. King was charged with throwing a hammer through a window of the building, followed by two lit Molotov cocktails. The criminal complaint states that both incendiary devices failed to ignite. King was identified as a suspect by local police because he had previously come under suspicion for anti-government and anti-police graffiti. After accepting a non-cooperating plea agreement, King was sentenced to ten years in June 2016. His release date is October 2023. He has served his time in various facilities of the federal Bureau of Prisons, or BOP.
King is currently facing one count of assaulting a government official for an incident that occurred in August 2018 at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Florence. According to King’s account, he was taken into a mop closet, out of sight of prison cameras, and beaten up by a corrections officer. The officer then said that King had assaulted him. King has been housed in a segregation cell at FCI Englewood since August 2019, fighting this charge. Overall, King has spent about three years in solitary confinement. My toilet is right next to my cellmate’s face, not hyperbolically, it is literally three inches from where he lays his head. I am in the FCI Englewood Secure Housing Unit (SHU)—the oddest SHU in the Bureau surely. In this segregation unit, you will get inmates from the Low [security prison], pre-trial people and folks like myself and my cellie who are on writ [having a court case] from other penitentiaries. This oddball combo makes no sense and causes a localized class system, all a part of the psych-ops of this odd rust bucket of a prison.
