Communist revolutionary Dimitris Koufontinas has been on hunger strike from 8/1, putting his body as bulwark against State barbarism and government revenge, fighting with coherence and
dignity for the termination of the special conditions regime that have been set up around him, claiming his transfer to Korydallos prison.
For our part, we stand wholeheartedly by the comrade’s side and, doing the minimum due, last week we attacked three banks smashing:
ATM of National Bank at Varnava Square, Pagrati.
ATM of Piraeus Bank at Nikiforidi str, Vyronas.
Storefront of Piraeus Bank at Vouliagmenis ave, Agios Dimitrios.
Solidarity and strength to the hunger striker Dimitris Koufontinas
Immediate transfer to Korydallos prison
Organize our resistance, move on to counter-attack
We do not need to elaborate on the history of the case. This has been stated and written so many times that “not knowing what’s going on” is clearly a choice. Driven by our respect for the imprisoned fighters,
making their own body a bulwark against the totalitarian onslaught of the State, the police, the judiciary and prison guards of all kinds, claiming the (in our eyes at least) profoundly evident, we wrote slogans on a bus in order to express our solidarity to the struggle being carried out, for another time, by the fighter Dimitris Koufontinas from inside the cells. We hope that this bus completed its journey before it was cleaned up, although the authorities of all kinds, in their rage against the power of the fighter and the actions of those who stand in solidarity to his struggle, make the impossible possible so that no sign of support is openly visible. Let it be…
As long as you are late in fulfilling the justified request of Dimitris Koufontinas you are playing with his life, in your full knowledge – you yourself who dare to talk about murder.
WHEN THE REBELS ENTER ATHENS, SYNTAGMA SQUARE WILL BE RENAMED KOUFONTINAS SQUARE
THE PASSION FOR FREEDOM IS STRONGER THAN YOUR PRISONS
“They follow you secretly and openly gangs and torturers and search
day and night to find you but there is no trail to follow because they
were never poets to worship the soil they tread on”
On the night of Friday 5/2 we placed an incendiary device in one of the entrances to the courts of Evelpidon (specifically that of the lawyers) wanting to support the struggle of the hunger striker Dimitris Koufontinas. The attack on the central structures of the judiciary is a response to a very clear political choice. The central governmental authority in direct collaboration with the representatives of civil justice is leading to the comrade’s death or at best to irreparable damage to his health. This political decision to assassinate Dimitris Koufontinas cannot go unanswered. Violating even their own legal tools, first legislating an photographic device to remove him from the agricultural prison now they are denying him the obvious, his transfer to Korydallos prison.
The whole bourgeoisie and especially its head viciously and vigorously seeks the physical extermination of one of its political opponents, whose contribution to class struggles and to the appropriation of
revolutionary violence by the oppressed, deeply challenged the omnipotence of the State beast and practically challenged its monopoly of violence.
Their own murderous insistence must be answered with our comradely and fighters’ solidarity. We call on every part of the movement to sharpen its action and stand as a bulwark against the murder of the hunger striker. Dimitris Koufontinas is a link in the chain of the history of the revolutionary movement and part of our struggles. With this action we declare to his tormentors, blinded by authoritarian arrogance, that they must seriously consider the political costs that they will be called upon to manage if they attempt to murder the comrade.
Victory to the hunger strike of the revolutionary communist Dimitris Koufontinas

If there is one open secret that has been going around in the world of children for decades, it is undoubtedly that which the fox confided to the Little Prince: «It is only in the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye». Would it be mere coincidence that the heart that pronounced this phrase in the middle of the last century, while not wearing the military livery, slipped easily into the journalist’s rags, for example to denounce the «republican crimes» of Spain of 1936-37 in the major nationalist newspapers? Or that as a fervent admirer of a Marshal reconciling the Frrrrench people under his rule after the debacle was rewarded with a nomination to the provisional committee of the Rassemblement pour la Révolution nationale [National Popular Rally, collaborationist under the Vichy regime] (1941)? As some pointed out later on another occasion, the most important thing in matters of official trifles is not so much to be able to refuse them as to not deserve them. On 31st October , therefore, his pathetic heirs of Master 2 Security and Defence of the University of Assas were not wrong in adopting the name of Saint-Exupéry for their sixteenth promotion, recognizing in him the alliance between «literary genius and military spirit: honour, respect, courage and love of country.». Apparently, it seems the essential can sometimes leap to the eyes all the same! But let’s move on.
At this unquestionably particular time, what could an organ that despises the spirit of the barracks as much as State terrorism discern on the other hand? At first glance, between a deadly pandemic justifying authoritarian measures of all kinds, strengthening of the technological prostheses from work to school right to all relationships, the environment becoming increasingly devastated and artificial under the incessant blows of industry, or the absence of utopian horizons – that «unrealized but not unrealizable dream» as was defined by someone famous « authoricidal projectile thrown upon the pavement of the civilized» — it is true that times seem more favourable to the clouds of domination than to the social tempest. And that there would almost be enough to lose the memory of the time before, as if covid-19 had swept it all away.
Last night 18/2/21, we installed a banner opposite of Malmö’s townhall as the minimum act of solidarity with hunger striker Dimitris Koufontinas.
Koufontinas, who has spent 18 years in prison for his participation in the revolutionary group 17 November, demands to be transferred to the Athenian prison of Korydallos, as defined by the latest reform of the penal code that the greek government enacted. Koufotinas was moved to the “hard” prison of Domokos instead.
Following the international call of solidarity and actions for D. Koufontinas, who is in in hungerstrike since the 8th of January to protest against his stricter imprisonment conditions, we painted a soli grafitti.
D. Koufontinas was part of the revolutionary organisation 17 November and has been in prison since 2003.

Politicians and capitalists, judges and prosecutors, bosses and bourgeois, must learn to fear and tremble at the power of the working class and the wrath of the organized proletariat. They alone are responsible for the impoverishment, marginalization, exploitation and oppression of the lower economic and social classes. Their vengefulness against anyone who fights for a better life is unmatched.
In no case do we ask for the slightest leniency. The answer of the antagonist movement must be proportionate both qualitatively and quantitatively. From supporting public gatherings and interventions, to night raids.
That is why on the night of Thursday 04/02 we placed an incendiary device on a vehicle of the diplomatic services belonging to the French consulate on Agrafon Street in Ano Poli, thus putting our own touch on the canvas of the multiform anarchist social-class struggle.
Since January 8, Dimitris Koufontinas has been on hunger strike to achieve his transfer to Korydallos prison. Previously, the Greek government of Nea Dimokratia had transferred him from a prison near Volos to the high security prison of Domokos. This as part of its policy of revenge against prisoners in general and especially against Koufontinas as a prisoner of the Revolutionary Organization November 17.
For us, this matter takes on significance in that Dimitris is one of the few convicts of November 17 who did not repent in court and was the only one to take political responsibility for the group’s actions.
Even though the RO 17 November has been disbanded for almost twenty years, it remains forever as a link in history that creates a continuity from the resistance against the German occupation of Greece until 1944, through the struggle against the right-wing terror in the Civil War until 1949 and the resistance against the military dictatorship of the Obrists from 1967 – 1974, and since then continues to express itself in the social struggles against any regime in this country.
The paradox underlying this trial is that it would have something new as its objective, whereas comrades have been investigated, tried, acquitted or convicted for the same things and ideas for years. The attempt to transform the relations of solidarity at the root of anarchist action into “subversive association with the aim of terrorism” is nothing new.
The attempt to get results at all costs through the methodical fabrication of “evidence” and insinuation is nothing new, and I believe it is the prosecution’s job to support them even if they are insane, like the “self-tracing” offered in extremis at the end of the first grade of this trial, or the delirious “rush” to write a threatening message at 6pm on a Sunday after an entire day spent at home working and drawing.
I am convinced that we anarchists are magnificent prey: we don’t believe in the justice of the courts, we insult prosecutors and policemen, we often refuse to defend ourselves against blatant accusatory frame-ups. I shall go a little against my principles and try to explain what I mean.
The idea being put on trial here is solidarity, with prisoners and between prisoners; the solidarity which, as anarchists, we define “solidarity and complicity” (and the first to use the binomial is not Gioacchino Somma, with all due respect to the prosecution and civil parties, but is an expression that has been used for at least 20 years in [anarchist] papers and leaflets, as a quick search on the internet will show) disregarding the fact that a human feeling risks becoming an indictment, a crime.

After the eviction of the anarcha-queer-feminist house project Liebig34 on 9th of october 2020, the offensive of state and capital against self-organized structures in the northern area of Friedrichshain and other parts of the city did not cease. The Liebig34 is since then under the control of the owner and the presence of his gang had also an affect on the local life. The so called Dorfplatz (“village square”) lying directly in front of the house was during the last months less used by residents and visitors as a common space and saw some minor confrontations with the invaders. With having taken one of the strategic points in the area and in the same time removing a political obstacle, state and capital could focus on the Rigaer94, which lies just some meters away from the Dorfplatz and has been a constant topic in the medias over the last year.
A few days ago, cops and diggers destroyed a settlement of homeless people in Rummels Bay, a few kilometers from us. The pretext here was the extreme frost, in reality it is also there to serve the profit of investors. Also expected in the next few weeks is the eviction of the Potse Youth Center – the city is in the process of removing any rebellious site. Continue Reading →

Maria B. was murdered by a cop in her flat in Berlin a year ago on 24.01.2020 after her flatmate called the police because he felt threatened by her. Four cops broke into the flat and one of them shot her dead.
The gathering took place in front of Maria’s house on 24.01.2021.
This text was translated from attaque.noblogs.org, read aloud and distributed as a flyer.
What truth, what justice?
The “abuses” of the police. The cops who cut, insult, beat, maim, rape, murder. The servants of the State talk about them as if they were rare and isolated episodes, consequences of unfortunate circumstances or, in the worst case, due to some “bad apples”. This is to say that, as a whole, policeman and woman are brave knights in the service of good. And in any case, their work would be indispensable to the society.
But, you only have to open your eyes a little to realize that violence is the very essence of power. A violence often hidden or considered “normal”, as if exploiting, attacking, locking up, murdering someone could be normal. Continue Reading →

by actforfreedom Comments Off on Greece: Pola Roupa member of the R.O. Revolutionary Struggle: About the traffic accident and my continuous transfers from one prison to another.
The road accident that I experienced during one of my many transfers at the end of another trial, was to be expected since the chances increase with my numerous transfers in cages inflicted on me by the Ministry of ProPo (Ministry Of Citizen Protection).
This particular cage was virtually uncontrollable on the wet surface of Kifissos Avenue and the driver shouted that he had no brakes. The collision took place at 50 km / h, as a result of which I was thrown from the metal seat in the cage of about 0.40 (X 0.40) that holds me during the transfers, and hit my head and spine hard. Of course, I was transferred to another cage. I was taken to the hospital (Thebes) on the orders of the prison doctor who examined me after I arrived at Eleonas prison.
This incident is not simply an unfortunate accident. When I asked a policeman “how do they accept to travel in cages without brakes, since they themselves put their lives in danger”, they told me, how “they make constant reports about the cages that are not maintained and how they are ignored. If any of them refuses to do the transfer, they will be fired.” Besides, the large number of transfers, the pressure under which they are made, the high speeds reached by the vehicles for safety reasons, in combination with the operating condition of the cages with no brakes, worn tyres, without any mechanical maintenance, make a car accident mathematically certain. If this unavoidable accident had happened elsewhere and the cage had reached a higher speed, it could have been fatal. And all this so that I do not stay in Korydallos for more than ten days until the next trial that has been set for February 24 and while many other trials are to follow (in the special court of Korydallos prison). A large number of male and female prisoners are being held in Korydallos prison for the duration of their trial, and this is as it should be.
Fire among the fibre optic cables alongside the tav railway to take and give ourselves a moment of disconnection.
Against the lockdown as experiment of mass control and accelerator of the virtualization and medicalization of our lives.
A thought to Dimitri and those who struggle inside the prisons.

by actforfreedom Comments Off on Greece: Fires in solidarity with Dimitris Koufodinas
“The State operation to exterminate the revolutionary Dimitris Koufodinas will not go unanswered”.
The ongoing hunger strike of political prisoner Dimitris Koufodinas and his threatened annihilation on the part of the murderous mechanisms of power is not something separate from the wider social reality. It is taking place under a veil of organized silence, methodical disinformation, unbridled authoritarianism. As has happened in the past with examples of hunger strikers killed by the State. The hunger striker is cursed by political normality, dehumanized, considered an “exile” blackmailing the State to satisfy his personal “whims” and consequently the State has no reason to give in to his “blackmail”.
“Mr Sands was a convicted criminal. He chose to take his own life. It was a choice that his organisation did not allow to many of its victims”. Margaret Thatcher, 1981, on the death of IRA member Bobby Sands following a hunger strike.
The government of ND [New Democracy] and the family of Mitsotakis and Bakogiannis are inflicting a death penalty on Dimitris Koufodinas. They are torturers and murderers. And as such will be remembered by historical memory. They, their minions and those who actively supported their shameless death policy.
We have a lot to say, but for now we still have a lot to do.
We are taking responsibility for the arson attacks:
